Ingredients
Scale
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon anchovy paste (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Base: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Stir them together until they’re smooth and well blended.
Add Flavor: Next, add the minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and anchovy paste, if you’re using it. Mixing these in will bring a savory depth to your dressing.
Cheesy Goodness: Gradually fold in the grated Parmesan cheese. This will add a deliciously creamy and tangy element that makes Caesar dressing so iconic.
Season It: Don’t forget to season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Give it a taste and adjust as needed. Remember, the cheese is salty, so add salt sparingly.
Chill: For the best flavor, refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before using. This allows all the flavors to meld beautifully together.
Notes
