Craft your very own juicy homemade beef burger with simple ingredients and customizable toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup diced onion (optional)
  • Hamburger buns
  • Cheese slices (optional)
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and other toppings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and diced onion (if using) in a bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into patties.
  4. Grill or cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side.
  5. Toast the hamburger buns until they are golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers with your choice of toppings and serve.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meat to keep burgers tender. Consider making a slight indentation in the center of the patties to prevent puffing.
